TFKable will be present at the Bałtyk 1 Supplier Day. Thanks to an extensive supplier network in Poland, most products and services can be sourced locally, which supports the regional economy and ensures a high share of domestic value added in offshore wind projects. Investments at the Bydgoszcz facility, including a CCV line tower and a modern High and Extra-High Voltage Laboratory for HVAC and HVDC cables, further strengthen Poland’s role in Europe’s energy transition.
The Bydgoszcz plant of the TFKable Group will supply 85 km of 220 kV onshore export cables and 38 km of 400 kV EHV cables for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects, which will connect offshore substations to the onshore grid and enable the delivery of renewable electricity to more than two million households. This is the fourth offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea with TFKable’s participation, confirming strong engagement in the supply chain and contribution to decarbonization.
