London Underground Limited (2014)

The first prototype section of a 500 mm² cable received approval from LUL (London Underground Limited) and was authorized for use in the London Underground. The positive evaluation of the initial deliveries allowed for an expansion of the product range to include additional cross-sections, including 935 mm², with a specially designed conductor structure consisting of 169 elements.

The supplied products met the stringent requirements of LUL specifications. The use of special design solutions in the conductor construction, as well as dedicated insulating and sheathing compounds based on EPR and EVA, ensured high flexibility while meeting operational requirements. In the following years, nearly 250 km of cables compliant with LUL specifications were delivered.
